Project Manager - Service Introduction & Release Readiness

6 months initially - Contract

£400 - £491/day (via an Umbrella)

1-2 days per week in Glasgow

A large & leading financial services organisation is currently seeking a Project Manager - Service Introduction & Release Readiness to lead the Service Introduction and Production Readiness activities for a major program launching in March.

To be successful, candidates should have the following knowledge & experience:

  • Demonstrable background in Project Management with experience in service introduction or release management
  • Experience with Release Management, Deployment processes, ITIL Service Transition, change management, and release governance
  • Previous Service Introduction experience within other large & established Financial Services or Banking organisations
  • Ability to produce structured readiness documentation and manage executive-level reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (asset management, CMDB, incident/problem/change management)
  • Familiarity with Jira for software change planning
  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and services, ideally with ITIL qualifications
  • 1st class communication & Stakeholder Management skills, ideally with experience in managing multi-vendor environments
