Head resourcing are looking for a consultant, at either entry senior or principal level to work for an Edinburgh based consultancy. They work closely will local authorities across the UK and assist with projects such as broadband connectivity, rolling out 5g and the general deployment of mobile network infrastructure.
The salary range on this role is very broad, with consultant roles available from £40k and principals all the way up to £110k. There are also other great benefits such as 10% bonus, unlimited holidays, private medical and so on.
This role can be based anywhere across the UK but Edinburgh is ideal. The specs below will describe a principal consultant skillset, however if you possess even a few of these skills please apply as there are other openings.
As a Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in technology consulting, leading complex projects, driving business development efforts, and managing a team of consultants. You will be recognized as an industry expert and trusted advisor to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Possess in-depth knowledge and expertise covering a broad range of technologies and their application in solving business needs
- Lead the delivery of complex projects, providing technical assurance and oversight for work completed by other consultants
- Act as a thought leader in the industry, with a deep understanding of the marketplace for technology suppliers, competing consultancy companies, and their service offerings
- Drive business development efforts, including identifying and developing new services, leading proposal development, and coordinating business development activities within sectors and target accounts
- Complete business development with existing and new clients, building and maintaining strong business relationships
- Provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing technology strategies, business cases, and proposals for clients
- Line manage a team of consultants, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management
- Deliver high-quality presentations to clients and industry events, facilitate client meetings and workshops, and effectively communicate complex concepts to senior client representatives and other consultants
- Produce high-quality documentation, including consultancy reports, proposals, and other project deliverables, coordinating and checking input from other consultants
