** Platform Engineer - OpenShift - Financial Services **
Our Client, a financial services organisation, is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to work on an initial 6-month contract. The base location will be Glasgow, although the role can be predominantly remote. The role will be engaged via Umbrella and the daily rate will be up to £550 per day, dependent on experience.
The successful candidate will be working on multiple projects, performing upgrades and maintaining the Client's OpenShift environment.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills/experience:
* Extensive and demonstrable experience supporting and maintaining an OpenShift environment - ESSENTIAL
* Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java or JavaScript
* Cloud knowledge, in particular Azure
* A technical mindset but with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences
* Time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple activities at once
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
* Team player with a can-do attitude
