Contract - 6 months initially - via Umbrella Company

Edinburgh - Hybrid Working. 1-2 days per week in Edinburgh Office
A new Network Engineer Contract has just arisen with an Edinburgh based Financial Services Client, a well-known & respected name in the Investments Sector.
Joining their Network Engineering Team and reporting to the Network Manager, the successful candidate will be required to support a range of network projects, implementing/supporting/maintaining their growing network infrastructure.
To be successful in this Contract, our Client is seeking candidates with a traditional Network Engineering background with knowledge/experience in the following:
- Strong hands-on experience providing Network Engineering & Support for large Group Offices / Global Data Centres
- Extensive Network Engineering experience/expertise, supporting LAN and WAN technologies with particular emphasis on Cisco Technologies
- Knowledge of Next Generation & Palo Alto Firewalls (ESSENTIAL) IPS devices, Cisco Wireless Technologies (Meraki), Citrix Netscaler and SD-WAN technologies both on-prem and cloud.
- Previous experience within other large Financial Services / Corporate Clients would be highly beneficial but is not essential
- Network Engineering certifications (CCNP, CCSA etc) would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Excellent people, communication, Customer Service & Problem Solving skills
