Role: MS Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Consultant / Systems Administrator
Day Rate Contract: £450-£550 per day (likely Outside IR35)
Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid - 2/3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 3-6 months initially
A well-known client in Edinburgh, a household name to many, is currently seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Consultant / Systems Administrator to join their Digital/Technology team on a day-rate contract basis. The successful candidate will join an existing programme of work to support the build, implementation, and optimisation of a new Microsoft Business Central ERP platform across a key area of the business.
The successful applicant will be required to:
* Support the deployment of Microsoft Business Central across multiple business functions, including finance, procurement, and sales.
* Work closely with project teams, business users, and the Implementation Partner.
* Assist with testing, troubleshooting, integrations, cutover activities, and general Business Central administration.
* Provide knowledge transfer and support to existing internal teams.
* Help optimise processes, workflows, and system enhancements.
To be successful, we are looking for candidates with:
- Extensive functional knowledge, experience, and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong, demonstrable experience in Business Central support, customisation, implementation, and integrations.
- Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and the Implementation Partner, while supporting permanent employees through knowledge transfer and upskilling.
- Previous experience within medium to large organisations following established project methodologies and structured change management approaches.
