Head Resourcing is working exclusively with an AI & machine learning driven offshore company who are genuinely changing the industry that they sit in. We're not being dramatic when we say that they're doing life saving work, and there is currently a rare opportunity to join what they are doing.
We are recruiting for a Machine Learning Engineering Manager to join them on this journey, helping to identify problems and find solutions as they build up their offering in the global market.
You will be a self-starter, motivated to work in a start-up environment and comfortable working directly with senior management, as well as managing and coaching a team of around 10 developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive software engineering best practice, while designing global first technology.
- Develop and deploy cloud & edge software frameworks for computer vision and AR processing.
- Design & develop innovative REST APIs and SDKs to deliver computer vision and machine learning capabilities.
- Provide technical support to the wider team and support implementation of best practice and processes.
- Demonstrate best practices for software development and documentation, ensuring all designs meet requirements and delivering high quality software on a tight schedule.
Skills & experience required to be successful:
- 6+ years of software & ML development experience
- A proven track record of leading engineering teams
- Passionate about helping to coach the next generation of technical talent, helping engineers to have a larger impact on the businesses success
- Experience in computer vision, machine learning and deep learning is essential
- PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, AutoML
- Real world experience in deploying fast, power efficient, portable edge devices for autonomous machines.
