Our client, a financial services organisation, is looking for a Linux RedHat Platform Engineer to work on a 6 month contract. The role has been assessed as Inside IR35 and the rate is up-to £477 per day to umbrella.

The role can be engaged fully remotely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on multiple projects, including the migration from RedHat versions 6 and 7 to version 8. You will develop, maintain and support the Operational Platform, remediate issues and perform root cause analysis.

The successful candidate will have:
*Proven experience of Red Hat's Enterprise Linux v6,7 and 8 including support experience and use of Satellite.
*Experience in one or more scripting languages (Ansible, Bash, Python, Perl).
*Experience with software configuration using Puppet
*Experience of Docker, Kubernetes or Openshift is highly desirable
*Experience of working in an Agile environment is highly desirable
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
