Head Resourcing is currently recruiting for an exceptionally talented Lead Product Designer that is looking to work for an exciting start-up, bringing a transformational product to the market. Our client is a customer-led business that is creating a tool that generates tangible value for all, supported by an executive team with a passion for helping people and a proven track record of creating successful online communities and digital ventures. Responsibilities:
*You will take a lead role in defining the creative direction of your projects, seeing your vision through from conception to delivery.
*You will be involved in all stages of the product design and development process - from initial strategy, through to conceptualisation, high-fidelity, build, launch and marketing. This will involve creating prototypes for various prospects, early in the sales process, to iterating those designs through to delivery and keeping products relevant for customers on an ongoing basis.
*You will be working across various projects, timelines, and states (from strategic product decisions, tactical changes to prototypes, to operational questions from the engineering team), being flexible and open-minded.
*This is a lead design role, you'll lead other designers and delegate tasks to see your vision executed.
Essential:
*Experience designing digital products and systems (ideally with a SaaS product)
*You have a breadth of knowledge of what goes into product design, from systems to visuals to people.
*Great communication skills.
*You are an expert collaborator. You are a team player who can work just as effectively with your design team peers as you can with clients, or colleagues in product or engineering.
*A growth-mindset. You're open and receptive to feedback and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
*Possesses strong abilities with Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, and Photoshop
*Understands and experienced in the Agile team environment.
*Experience with User Research and Testing
