Head Resourcing - Lead Developer (SQL Server)

My client, a global Insurance organisation based in Glasgow is looking for a Lead SQL Server Developer on an initial 6-month contract. This role has been deemed Inside IR35 therefore any successful applicant would have to work through an Umbrella Company and will carry a rate of up to £450 per day. Please note despite the role/client being Glasgow based this role can be undertaken remotely.

The role sits within the Data Services Function and my client is ideally looking for someone who has worked in a multi-party development environment and has excellent technical and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to assist with the Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation planning phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, provide technical leadership to fellow developers and conduct Code reviews as and when required.

Technical Skills required for this role include:

*Experience of using Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies (including T-SQL programming, SSIS, SSRS), ideally v2012 onwards
*Experience in developing complex database application such as Data warehouse
*Experience in using Visual Studio, SVN, GitHub, Azure DevOps
*Ability to work with 3rd party/partners technical teams
*Ability interpret and run pre-defined processes and scripts
*Strong experience in end-to-end software delivery including technical analysis, task estimation, and development
*AWS knowledge is desirable
