We are hiring a full-stack Developer to join an award-winning Edinburgh Head-quartered growth technology company. The company has enjoyed significant success over recent years, and is now looking to grow it's in-house Product team.

This role is pivotal in the success of the growth of the team, as you would be a senior member of both the in-house team, whilst also working closely with the existing external development team.

The Lead developer role would suit someone who is looking to move into their first leadership position and who would like to develop skills in AWS, machine learning and SAAS Architecture. The role will be constantly evolving as the company grows, but will include designing, building and maintaining our clients AWS System Architecture, developing our clients core product and working with the CTO on roadmap design.

We are looking to speak to candidates who have a real passion for their work, and who would like to work for an ethical and inclusive company, who value and welcome individuality and ideas.

Ideally, you will have a number of years working in full-stack development (with Python and/or React), some knowledge of AWS would be advantageous, and experience working with Terraform.

In additional to these technical skills, any knowledge or experience of PostgeSQL and Ruby, Machine Learning and an understanding of UI/UX would be beneficial in the role.
Most importantly though, is your ability to understand, communicate with and lead our clients growing team, and to provide them with the support they need to thrive and grow in their roles.
As a company, our client is exceptionally committed to providing the opportunity to learn and grow in your role and along with the employee benefits package, they also provide time and support to allow you to continue with your learning. The company offers a flexible, innovative and welcoming working environment, and whilst the office is based in Edinburgh would be able to support remote working with some time in the office on a regular basis.
