Head Resourcing are excited to be working with a leading FMCG organisation who provide the UK with renown agricultural products. Due to their continued growth and development of their Ecommerce platform, we are looking to recruit a Junior .NET Developer to join this tightknit team based across Scotland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is new/has some experience within the software development industry, that is eager to get involved working on a variety of projects, working with some great technologies such as .NETCore, React, building CI/CD pipelines and more.


The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working as a full stack developer and have worked on application projects.

As a Junior .NET Developer, among other responsibilities, you will be involved in:

*Build new web features and enhance existing ones.
*Get involved with Microservices projects that serve the shop.
*Troubleshoot and solve general issues.
*Write clear and concise code in a variety of languages, as required.
*Assist with the review, planning, and scheduling of technical tasks.
*Participate in key software design decisions.
*Engage with colleagues across the business to understand their software needs.
*Write both technical and end-user documentation.

Required skills / experience:

*A proven track record of hands-on development in C# .Net and/or C#.Net Core.
*Good working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC and MVVM.
*An understanding of ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
*Experience of agile development methodologies (Scrum / Kanban / etc.)
*The ability to get involved in all areas of software development across the full SDLC
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This role will primarily be based remote but with the need to travel to their offices in Glasgow, Stirling, Cowdenbeath, Nairn or Kintore once a week/once every two weeks.
