The role will involve shift work, covering shifts including evenings, nights and weekends. There will also be a necessity to be in the Edinburgh office on a rotational basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring online services and escalating as required. You will also monitor Batch Processing, liaise with Support Teams to ensure processes and procedures are accurate and fit for purpose, and document Incident Work Notes and Shift Logs.
You will have:
*Knowledge of IBM Z/OS operations
*Ideally have knowledge of IMS and DB2 experience
*Good knowledge of Tivoli Workload Scheduler
*Ability to use experience / knowledge to provide 1st level Support throughout infrastructure currently in use, utilising Operations processes and procedures
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
