IT Project Manager - Healthcare

Head Resourcing are looking for a detail orientated person who will be responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, documenting and overseeing multiple healthcare data migration projects worldwide. You will lead, communicate and deliver a clear plan encompassing the objectives of the project(s) and create an environment to optimise performance of the other Professional Services Team members. We are looking for candidates who have a solid ability to build and handle relationships with excellent organisational and communications skills, both spoken and written.

Our Client is experienced with the challenges of handling healthcare data at scale. Using their deep understanding of how data is created and stored within health IT systems, they extract, standardise, and move data between systems worldwide. They use this knowledge to create innovative solutions for machines and humans which makes data more available to help drive patient care and research.

Day to Day Responsibilities

-Create, manage and maintain project documentation, including Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP's), in conjunction with the Team, including the definition of project
metrics and acceptance criteria.
-Lead Customer engagement during scheduled Customer/Client calls.
-Along with the Implementation Engineers, work closely with the Customer to translate
the project objectives into an effective project plan and obtain Customer management
approval.
-Support Implementation Engineers to keep them on task on time.
-Interact and maintain relationships with Customer/Clients and vendors, keeping them
advised of progress and issues.
-Handle change to preserve project plan commitments by proactively identifying changes in work scope and ensuring appropriate planning measures are taken.
-Effectively assist with projects resources, providing a forecast of resource skills needed.
-Involved in project scoping and pre-sales activities providing input into Statement of
-Works on time estimates and budgetary input.


Must Haves

Forward planning a crucial skill, as well as the ability to adjust to changes in timelines
and flow this through to the Team and resource management across projects.

- Flexible, eager to learn, enjoy attention to detail, a problem solver, ability to focus on
the project goals and persistently work to deliver to the expectations of the Customer/ Client.
-Diligent with planning, lists and completing tasks.
- Ability to work well with all people; including Implementation Engineers and Managers,
but also a self-starter who can show initiative and work autonomously when required.
- Good interpersonal skills, experience in a Customer facing role where you efficiently
manage clients position while ensuring that the project goals are achieved to the
Customer's satisfaction.
- Be a team player able to be flexible in dealing with others and the job

sector.
- Experience and familiarity with recognised Project Management methodologies.
- Proficiency with Project Management software tools.
- Prince II certification or equivalent

Desirable Skills
- 5+ years' experience of Project Management in the healthcare information technology
- Previous experience of PACS/VNA Project Management and/or migration.
- An understanding of health care standards such as DICOM and HL7.
- Degree in Software, IT or Healthcare related area

Remote working with quarterly meetings in Bath office and other locations as required.
