I am looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a global FMCG client in Glasgow. Joining the business technology function who look to deliver business change through technology you will use your PM delivery skills to both directly manage multiple key projects concurrently and provide guidance and support to other members of the Business Technology team.

Projects typically involve multiple aspects as part of their scope including business processes, systems and technologies, project plans, risks, issues, stakeholder engagement and communications. This is a varied IT PM role and the successful candidate will bring simplicity, adapting at pace and challenge to work collaboratively with all business stakeholders

Key responsibilities include,

*Creation and management of delivery against the project plan within timeline and budget
*Continual management of project team resources
*Proactive management of RAID log which affect achieving overall objectives. Take decisions required and escalate to PCB / sponsors in a timely and clear manner
*Clear assessment and articulation of overall status
*Undertaking Quality Assurance of all deliverables to ensure overall objectives will be met
*Extended, proactive stakeholder engagement to ensure a successful transition
*Stakeholder management and communication
*Building strong stakeholder relationships across all affected countries from the Exec level down
*Lead communication of decisions and relevant information to impacted departments
*Working with strategic partners and 3rd parties to deliver all relevant aspects required

In order to be successful in the role candidates need,

*Good IT project management skills with a proven track record of working together with external delivery partners in a strategic relationship across distributed sites
*Practical experience setting up and leverage of Waterfall/ Agile / Scrum based delivery approaches.
*Ability to communicate complex problems in a non-technical and simplified manner at all levels
*Practical experience for implementing Business Change in a physically distributed organisation.
*FMCG project delivery background would be advantageous.
