A new opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with experience of delivering IT-enabled Change projects within Financial Services, this position is on a permanent basis. The role will offer a remote working environment with essential meetings only to take place within the HQ in the future, for this reason this role would ideally be suited to those within commutable distance of Edinburgh city centre, as and when required.

Key Accountabilities include:
*Manages the execution of a portfolio of technology change projects and programmes
*Leads the project team for the project lifecycle ensuring adherence to governance, risk and issue management, effective project communication and delivery of quality artefacts e.g. project plans, RAID log, readiness plans, and budget management
*Designs, owns and develops project & programme management processes where needed
*Leads and shapes project and programme proposals, ensuring alignment with the IT business strategy
*Leads and develops the capacity and capability of projects services both internally and with external partners
*Motivates, develops and coaches both direct reports and virtual team members to create high performing project teams
*Engages with a diverse group of stakeholders to influence direction of projects to meet the project milestones
*Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment
*Works closely with Programme Leads to provide regular status reporting & recommend options for contingency plans
*Owns service improvement initiatives for the purpose of providing class leading IT project services

Essential skills and experience required:
*Proven Senior IT Project Management experience in UK financial services
*Experience working within large scale, complex, global change environments
*Experience managing 3rd party offshore resources & services
*First class communication skills - presenting, facilitating, verbal and written
*Prince2/PMP or relevant industry qualification.
