An excellent opportunity has presented in Edinburgh for an IT & Service Delivery Manager.
We are delighted to be working with an Edinburgh based client who have been on a continued journey of growth and improvement within their philanthropic and technical endeavours.
This role is a Senior and Strategic addition with strong, proven experience of IT Services and Service Management along with strong experience of Change advisory board meeting facilitation to join a highly regulated environment.
The role will be responsible for ensuring a high level of best practice, aligning ISE27001, 270171, PCI, GDPR and best practices.
The appointed individual will manage a team of highly technical individuals whilst also taking a holistic strategic approach. You will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining strong relationships with a number of business-critical vendor and supplier engagements.
The main activities for the position will include but not be limited to;
*Oversee the day to day running of IT Operations and Service Management
*Line Manage skilled engineers and technical team leads
*Work with the Service manager to deliver high quality, customer focused service delivery to the business and ensure service levels are met
*Facilitate Change advisory board meetings with stakeholders.
*Define and deliver against IT strategy
The main required skills for applicants will sit within the following areas;
*Experience of working within a highly regulated business
*Strong working experience of public cloud principles (AWS/ Azure)
*Proven working exposure to a complex private cloud environment hosting business-critical systems (preferably VMWare)
*Experience working with large IT budgets and achieving strong ROI on expenditure
*Management / Leadership experience
*Strategic vision with an innovative mentality and passion for continuous improvement
*ITIL qualified to intermediate level or above.
*Experience of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
