Infrastructure Manager

Head Resourcing is pleased to be working with a Managing Service Provider who have a requirement for an experienced Infrastructure Manager to join their team. The company are experts in the market who have been establish over 20 years and are experts in the cloud services market. They manage and own over 13 data centres across the UK alone, meaning customers have a safe place to run applications and store their data. You will work with technical experts to provide, manage, and develop hosting services. This role can be Glasgow or Manchester based depending on candidates' location.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be working to provide 100% uptime for our clients

  • Managing and leading your internal engineering team to support operations

  • Utilising our technology assets within budgets.

  • Liaising with stakeholders across the business.

  • You will delegate responsibilities and tasks to our internal support team, providing effective and efficient time scale delivery.

  • Provide an environment of improvement within your team and wider company.

  • Ensure Internal assets are protected and secure.

Key Skills:

  • Microsoft SQL

  • VMWare

  • Hyper-V

  • Windows server 2012,2016 and 2022

  • Microsoft 365

  • Automation and deployment

  • Windows 10 Administration

  • WDS and MDT

  • Active Directory along with Azure Active Directory

  • Networking TCP and IP, DNS and DHCP

  • Communication and leadership skills are essential.

Salary:

Up to £55,000 depending on experience

Ways of working:

This role can be based in Glasgow or Manchester. Attending the office 2 days per week.
