💥 Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Architect - Contract Role
📍 Location: Livingston (Hybrid Working)
📅 Duration: 3-Month Initial Contract (DRC), ideally working 3 days per week ("Part-Time")
A well-known client that we've worked with for many years is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Contractor to join their small IT team on a short-term term Contract. This is a hands-on, senior technical role seeking someone that can also guide & mentor other member of the Support & Engineering Teams.
Key tasks & responsibilities will include:
- Taking over for an existing team member to help shape & evolve infrastructure architecture to support business growth.
- Leading lifecycle upgrades, infrastructure projects, cloud transitions, and domain migrations etc
- Manage core technology stack covering Azure, VMware, Office 365, Active Directory, and Exchange etc
- Coach, Mentor & Lead a small technology team and explore close collaboration with other teams & functions
The Ideal Candidate should have the following knowledge & experience
- Deep knowledge & experience working in similar sounding Senior Infrastructure Engineer or Infrastructure Designer Contracts
- Deep technical knowledge & experience in Microsoft Infrastructure - M365, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Server & Storage etc
- Any formal certifications such as Azure Admin, VMware VCP, or ITIL will be a huge plus but not essential
- Organised, communicative, and solutions-driven is a must, coupled with the ability to work as part of a team, with 3rd party suppliers & with various Stakeholders across the business
