Our global engineering client urgent requires an Infrastructure Engineer/Consultant to deliver key infrastructure upgrades and enhance services. This role site within the core Infrastructure Operations team - the function is responsible for the design, management, maintenance and upkeep of the Data Centres and supporting infrastructure.

The team works across 2 locations and you should be able to work on site in either Fife (Scotland) or Essex

Essential experience for this role is:

* Server Hardware and Storage, Vsphere
* Demonstrated expertise in Windows Active Directory (DNS/Group Policies), Windows Server
* Knowledge and practical experience of Private and Public Cloud provisioning
* ITIL qualifications and practical application experience within a regulated organisation
* Multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.
*Basic monitoring techniques in a dynamic environment.
