Our Edinburgh based Financial Services Client - Pensions - is currently seeking an "Information Security Consultant" to join their team.
More of a business-focussed role, the successful candidate will be required to review & understand current InfoSec processes & documentation (including interfaces with other teams and their processes) and then collate/analyse areas of concern & areas needing improvement, making suitable recommendations to the team.
A good looking role on paper, to be successful, our Client is seeking candidate with the following knowledge & experience;
1) Strong & proven understanding across the full Information Security landscape - frameworks / policies / processes etc
2) Strong Analytical / Consultancy skills with strong experience reviewing Security processes and documentation
3) Excellent people, communication & Stakeholder Management skills
4) Any previous experience helping to establish/grow Security Teams/Functions would be highly advantageous
5) Previous experience within other Financial Services organisations will also be highly advantageous
