Head resourcing are recruiting for a Graduate Data Analyst to join a small dynamic team based in Edinburgh. This position will be involved in developing the companies data architecture with a focus on providing business users with the capability to create their own reports using analytical tools such as Power BI.
About The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion to understand data but also be able to provide insight and analysis through clear visual, written and verbal communication. You will be highly analytical, organised, have strong mathematical skills, have attention to detail and be curious and inquisitive about all things data.
Experience in the following are ideal:
Should possess strong experience in developing enterprise data warehouses using the Kimball methodology. developing database schemas like Star Schema and Snowflake Schema for Dimensional Modelling and identifying Facts and Dimensions. Data Profiling, Data Mapping, Data Validation and Data Cleansing.
Should possess strong experience in documenting requirements, developing test plans, test cases, procedures and designed documents within the given business requirements.
It is important to note that this role can be for candidates with experience or individuals who have developed their Power BI skills at university. Data Science, Mathematics or a similar degree will be considered.
