This role for a Front-End Developer position in a small and autonomous team to maintain the ecommerce stores, develop and managed a custom Shopify theme and Develop new user facing website features.
Primary front-end developer on Shopify Plus sites
Responsibilities
* Identify and develop fixes for bugs
* Optimise website performance
* Manage third-party website integrations
* Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
* Scope/resource planning on long-term development projects
* Assist with running website conversion and optimisation tests
Experience
* Proficient understanding of web markup HTML5/CSS3
* Strong background in JavaScript and JS Frameworks
* Understanding of code versioning tools
* Proven working knowledge of modern, responsive UX/UI design practices, specifically for ecommerce
* Attention to detail
* Excellent in working collaboratively across various departments
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving results on time
Preferred
* eCommerce development experience
* Familiarity with Liquid and Shopify App ecosystem
* Understanding of SEO and data driven conversion rate optimisation
