Head Resourcing are recruiting for an ESB Developer to join our large financial services client based in Glasgow City Centre. Our client is looking for a talented developer to join them and work within their digital team. The digital team is there to deliver engaging customer experiences and enable customers to access their finances when and how they want to.
In this role, our client is looking for someone who is a keen technologist but also someone who can engage with the wider business and collaborate with stakeholders. They are looking for someone who can challenge ideas and improve the way things are done.
The successful individual will be responsible for design, development and implementation of integration and messaging based solutions from conception through to completion in an agile environment.
Day to day you will work with colleagues to assist in the evolution of the ESB Middleware Platform, identify or suggest changes that could improve the service and work as part of a team to lead, coach and manage the ESB development team. In the senior role, you will also be expected to make key technical decisions and evolve development practises.
Required Skills:
*Experience in IBM ESB or similar Middleware product
*Experienced in Agile development
*Strong grasp of automation, continuous integration, test-driven development and continuous refactoring
*Java, JEE, JSP
*SQL / ESQL
