Key responsibilities:
*Ensure that day to day service requests are met in a timely manner, working with the business where necessary to discuss and agree priorities and timelines.
*Proactively manage and support others to deliver enhancements, process improvements, new systems implementations and product and process enhancements across the business.
*Ensure any outsourced service delivery for support or project delivery meets business requirements and that the division of responsibilities between IT staff and outsourced support is fully understood and managed.
*Work with internal IT to understand infrastructure and product changes that will impact the provision of service and ensure that those changes are managed in a way that supports business priorities and timetables.
*Manage and support others to deliver process improvement, systems implementations and product and process enhancements across the business.
*Maintains an effective change control framework to ensure all related change initiatives and projects deliver to accepted quality and cost standards in alignment with IT processes and in compliance with the required financial audit standards.
*Review quality of deliverables and monitor project milestones, ensuring corrective actions are taken as necessary.
Key skills/experience required:
*Proven experience with ERP service delivery across multiple applications. (Unit4 experience is beneficial but not essential if experience over a range of ERP applications can be demonstrated.)
*Demonstrable experience of financial management and budgetary control in a commercial environment
*Demonstrable ability to deploy and sustain ERP applications in line with a company's technical and commercial strategy
*Ability to manage operations in remote locations through multi-vendor team in a virtual environment
*Ability to grasp an understanding of current and new business application technologies and determining applicability in the current business context
*Ability to exercise strong judgment in analysing, appraising and solving problems of procedural, organisational or technical nature.
*Experience in collaborating with management teams in a multi-cultural environment
*Ability to record and manage issues to closure
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Able to develop and apply appropriate technical skills
*Team oriented work approach
*Experience of managing and developing teams
