DevOps Engineers (Azure, Spring Framework, Java, J2EE) needed by our Consultancy client for a project with their end-client based in the Hague, though the role will be remote until September at the earliest and is very likely to be predominantly remote.

We are looking for strong DevOps / Cloud Engineers and Architects with a background in Java related technologies, Azure and Spring framework tools, including Security, REST, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Data Flow. Additionally experience in Containerisation (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and modern architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, reactive architectures, event-driven architectures based on Apache Kafka) are essential.

The organisation is undergoing a major transformation period, a strategic plan has been launched to rebuild their applications on state of the art platforms (like Kubernetes, Kafka etc.) using latest methodologies (like microservices and event driven architecture). Delivery processes are up to date with industry best practises around iterative delivery based on continuous integration and delivery processes.

The current team consists of system architects and domain specialists acting on one hand as architects in projects and on the other hand delivering domain architectures, proof of concepts, standards and patterns. The DevOps Engineers are expected to have and maintain hands-on experience with the relevant technologies and development languages, allowing them to design fit-for-purpose solutions and guiding development and implementation teams to successful delivery.

The roles have yet to be assessed, however, based in a preliminary assessment, we believe it highly likely they will be assessed as Outside IR35.

Key Skills:
*Domain driven design
*Containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
*Modern architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, reactive architectures, event-driven architectures based on Apache Kafka)
*Spring framework (Security, REST, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Data Flow)
*Developing solutions which meet challenging performance requirements
*Java(J2EE)
*CI/CD techniques (Jenkins, Nexus, ArgoCD, Helm) or Elastic Search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr)
*Test automation approach(BDD)
*Cloud native architectures and cloudsystem providers (Azure and GCP primarily)
*Security technologies(OIDC and oAuth2)
*Experience with databases(relational and nonrelational data stores)
*Excellent communication and architecture documentation skills

In addition, you will ideally have strong experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
*Java(J2EE) including RMI and Jackson (for serialization/deserialization of Java Objects into JSON);
*OCR technologies (Abby Fine reader, Tesseract)
*Elastic Search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr)
*Front-end & Web Development including Javascript frameworks like React, Node.JS, Redux, RXJS, CSS-in-JS and Browser oriented testing frameworks( e.g. Puppeteer, Selenium) and approaches for automated front end testing.

If interested and available to start a new engagement in April, please Apply immediately!

If this job isn't the one for you, then don't worry we have lots more opportunities available!
