Our Financial Services Client is recruiting for a contract Defect Manager to join them for a 12-month contract. Hybrid remote/Halifax based. This role is available via Umbrella and can pay £350/day.
The selected contractor will work collaboratively with internal colleagues, offshore colleagues and third-party providers to define, develop and deliver a Defect Management Strategy that provides a single view across each phase of the programme, ensures best practice is adhered to and has a clear focus on delivery.
To be considered for this role, applicants should have the following skills:
* Defect Management and automation experience
* Experience in preparing and presenting; Defect Management Strategies, Detailed Status Reports. MI and Dashboards to senior stakeholders
* Strong understanding of testing phases and deliverables
* Communication and Stakeholder Management skills
* Jira /Confluence
* Detailed understanding of SDLC, the various test methodologies and proficiency in a wide range of the standard industry tools that support testing
* Experienced in Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis Techniques
