Data Engineer (Edinburgh)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Data Engineer/Python Engineer to join a growing team at a cutting-edge company using tech for good.
Working in an Azure cloud environment, you will create and productionize data models, pipelines, and analysis tools to provide real-time control and information for this market-leading solution. As a Data Engineer with an understanding of state-of-the-art techniques, you will work with a team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Visualizers, and the wider business to deliver enterprise-grade products for both internal and external use.
I am looking for someone who is committed to quality, testing, and good engineering practice, and who can build and test commercial-grade applications or use Azure native services to build data pipelines and expand/maintain data warehouses. With significant experience working with Python, proven experience working with SQL, some exposure to AI, ML, DL or similar analysis tools, and experience in building production-ready data solutions, you have the essential skills for this role.
Individuals with varied experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds and a thirst for learning are of great interest to this client and they can offer flexible working arrangements with some Edinburgh office presence (2/3 days) and home working.
