Our Financial Services Client is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join a large programme within their Insurance and Wealth Division. The role will run for 12 months and can pay £405/day. This role is available via Umbrella Company only. Will require days in the Halifax office approx 2 days per month.
To be considered for this role applicants should have the following skills:
* Good mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and test analysis data
* Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R,
* Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
* Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases
* Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel for data set analysis
* Problem-solving skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Adept at queries, drafting reports, and making presentations
* Team-working skills
* Verbal and Written communication skills
* Proven working experience in data analysis
