Head Resourcing is please to be working with an Edinburgh based provider of professional and managed cyber security services to assist them in hiring a Security Incident Manager. Our client is an award winning and fast-growing provider of cyber security consultancy and have been awarded Microsoft Gold partner status.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented cyber security professional to take ownership of security incidents for clients and be part of building an incident response team to add to our clients existing offering. The role will involve managing cyber security incidents and performing digital forensics to assist clients under attack.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate a strong technical background as well as experience in incident response. You will know how to guide clients through a structured process from triaging the incident through to recovery in a timely and professional manner. Further priorities of the role will be around building/improving processes both internally and for clients, holding retrospective feedback on Incident response and setting up "war game" scenario-based activities with clients to assess their own internal incident response.
Skills and Responsibilities:
*Manage cyber security incidents
*Digital Forensics of relevant incident data
*Develop in house cyber-response tools
*Assess client incident response capability
*Working programming skill set and ability to author and develop tools
*Advanced experience in industry computer forensic tools
*Advanced experience in preservation and digital evidence
*Excellent communication skills
