I am currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join travel company in Inverclyde. Working across the business you will lead teams to identify, analyse and deliver opportunities for change, which will deliver incremental, but significant improvements to help with how the company operates.

On top of this will also be accountable for developing and managing the Continuous Improvement portfolio, with the usage of CI methods and tools, management of resources and process improvement hubs, and developing the company's CI capability and culture.

Key responsibilities include,

* Design and drives the implementation of the CI framework and governance across the business
* Ensures the identification and prioritisation of improvement initiatives through effective performance baselining and agreement with the leadership team
* Manages a portfolio of agreed improvement initiatives by working with the business to ensure sustainable delivery using CI methods and establishes robust governance and benefits management.
* Provides coaching to leadership on CI knowledge and behaviours
* Deliver the deployment and effective running of process improvement hubs across key areas of the business
* Establishes performance groups across key operational areas to drive ownership, building of high performing teams and bottom up improvements of performance
* Helps facilitate problem solving through CI accelerators/hit squads
* Measures and develops the CI maturity of the business
* Owns and manages the CI academy and the capability development of the organisation


In order to be successful in the role, candidates need


* Understanding of operational business and performance
* Strong understanding of change management and culture development
* Knowledge of benefits management and governance
* Lean/6 sigma
* Proven capability of delivering successful outcomes whilst maintaining strong working relationships with the business and leadership
* An expert planner who can build schedules, forecast and track tasks, and integrate activities to manage a number of moving parts/resource conflicts
* Strong facilitation, presentation, relationship management and influencing skills
* An analytical thinker who is comfortable with using a variety of tools to collate, analyse and present complex information
* Appreciation of agile methodology
