£450-£550 per day

A Glasgow based Public Sector Client is currently seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join their team.

Joining an existing team & backfilling for a current team member moving internally, the Contract will be through until end of March 2026 with extensions likely in 2026. My Client works in a hybrid way and requires candidates in the Glasgow Office each week.

To be successful in this Contract, we're looking for candidates with in-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud, with particular knowledge & experience in the following:

  • Azure network operations across VNETs, ExpressRoute, Virtual Network Gateways, Route Tables, NSGs, and multi-tenant peering - ensuring secure & efficient connectivity across multiple subscriptions.
  • Support VPN and firewall infrastructure, managing VWAN and Azure Firewall to maintain robust remote access and perimeter security for end users.
  • Optimise cloud infrastructure by deploying and managing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, enhancing performance, security, and scalability across Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Drive cost efficiency and modernisation through Azure FinOps-regularly assessing cloud resources to identify savings, retire legacy components, and recommend future-proof solutions.
