In this role, you will be working within an experienced Cyber Security team, acting as a subject matter expert on IT Security. Working closely with stakeholders, you will provide IT Security solutions and deliver fully tested security services to the business. Working across multiple programme and project workstreams you will provide cyber security assurance, while helping drive the security strategy and adoption of security technologies within the organisation.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Supporting the execution of NIST framework requirements
- Recommending, designing, and delivering security solutions and services across the business
- Carry out Risk assessments designed to highlight gaps and articulate IT security risk to the organisation
- Share knowledge and coach cyber security staff from a technical SME perspective
- Ensure cyber security controls are implemented effectively and reviewed regularly
- Define security deliverables to project and change initiatives during early engagement
Experience and Skills required:
- Proven commercial experience of working in and Information Security or IT Security focused role
- Hold certifications or be working towards, CISM, CISSP, CSSLP or equivalent strongly desired
- Experience of working across multiple workstreams or large IT programmes from an IT Security point of view
- Knowledge and experience of the NIST framework would be hugely advantageous
- Stakeholder Management experience
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken
