C# / ASP.NET / RDBMS Developer - Edinburgh - Permanent

Head Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced C# Developer that is looking for a new challenge. Working as part of the team that delivers applications across their Accountancy and Investments Operations department you will work closely with your colleagues on the core systems, ensuring a unified approach for development, architecture and data modelling are delivered. Technically you will work with C# (.Net Core and some .Net Framework), RDBMS (Oracle / SQL Server), and web skills - you will also gain exposure to Devops and Containerisation technologies and Azure cloud technology. - Perform full development lifecycle for existing and new financial software systems within the Accountancy and Investment Operations Delivery Stream.
- Oversight of 3rd party and internally built systems.
- Working with other team members and stakeholders to identify and fulfil business requirements with appropriate technical solutions, frequently taking the lead.
- Communicating progress and ideas to the team lead and other team members.
- Contribute to the development of current standards and procedures.

- C# (Net Framework and .NetCore)
- SQL / RDBMS experience (Oracle and / or SQL Server)
- Unit testing frameworks
- ORMs (e.g. Entity framework), DI, OO / SOLID
- Web APIs, REST, GraphQL or similar
- Source control (e.g. Git, GitFlow, TFVC)

- Queuing (e.g. RabbitMq)
- System Design Skills
- DevOps / Continuous delivery tools and experience
- Containerised deployment methods (Docker / Kubernetes)
