A well-known and respected Edinburgh Investment Management client is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst Contractor with significant experience of client facing bespoke applications and the full software development lifecycle.
Joining them on a 6-month initial contract, the role must be engaged via umbrella company. 1-2 days per week in the Edinburgh based office will be expected.
With multiple projects within the Application Development department requiring support, you will be working on bespoke and packaged software development, focussing on applications that are essential to our Client's business.
We are looking for experienced technology focussed Business Analyst Contractors with the following knowledge & experience:
*In-depth Business and Systems Analysis knowledge & experience with a thorough understanding of the full software development process
*Previous projects should include working with bespoke and packaged software development, rather than off the shelf or migrations
*Demonstrable experience working in an agile environment (e.g., Scrum)
*Excellent people, communication, and inter-personal skills with the ability to work collaboratively a range of stakeholders
*Experience working in Investment Management is highly preferred
*A strong work-ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
