Our private sector client is currently looking for an Application Integration Engineer/Application Packager for an initial 6-month contract (inside IR35 engaged via FSCA-accredited Umbrella company).
This will be a hybrid working role and will require likely 1-2 days weekly/fortnightly at either the Harlow or Fife office.
Essential:
*At least 3 years demonstrable experience of working in a similar role within a regulated industry.
*Ability to liaise with Business users directly, translating technical requirements into Business facing instructions and requests.
*A sound and demonstrable knowledge of application packaging and delivery technologies (e.g Admin Studio, ORCA, MSI, App-V)
*Proven experience of working effectively with 3rd party vendors including dealing with challenging situations effectively.
*Experience of design/engineering in end user computing technologies including Systems Centre Configuration Management (SCCM) and Microsoft deployment toolkit
*Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS components and services, Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 2012 / 2016 / 2019 Server, Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
*Experience of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenDesktop / XenApp)
*Able to meet security clearance and disclosure requirements
Desirable:
*Experience of working in a similar role within the Security and Defence industry.
*Experience of user profile management tools such as Ivanti UWM or Microsoft FSLogix
*Experience of monitoring platforms such as Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager
*Recognised Vendor Accreditation (MCSE, MCTS, MCP, CISSP, VCP, CCA)
