Our Edinburgh based and highly regarded Asset Management client is looking for an experienced Application Developer to join their ever growing Continuous Improvement team. Client is based in Edinburgh, though the role can be based part time from home.
In this role you will support business-critical functions such as order management, trading, trade counterparty management, post trade analytics and MI etc. Core in-house developed applications have a C# .Net WinForms front-end with an Oracle database back-end so strong C# .Net WinForms front-end experience is essential for this role.
To be successful in this Contract, our Client is seeking an experienced Developer with solid and demonstrable experience in the following areas:
* Strong C#, .NET WinForms
* Experience of using Source Control (e.g. TFS, Git etc.)
* Oracle PL/SQL Development
* Experience of agile methodologies e.g. Scrum or Kanban
* Knowledge of Azure DevOps (Pipelines/Builds/Boards)
Initial contracts will be for 6 months and remotely based with 1 - 2 days' weekly or fortnightly from the Edinburgh office as things continue to open up.
