Our Edinburgh based and highly regarded Asset Management client is looking for experienced Application Developers to join their ever growing team and work on one of many interesting projects (Front office improvements, Automation and development of new functionalities). Apart from coding successful candidates will be part of the wider team and participate in stand-ups, team retrospectives, design discussions etc.
This client manages their work through Azure DevOps with extensive use of automated testing and continuous integration.
In this role you will be responsible for:
*Collaborating closely with product team to design and deliver UI features that meet the needs of our customers
*Implementing and maintaining features of our existing single page application (SPA) and template (GEL)
*Integrate client with existing systems via APIs and Messaging
*Building automated tests as part of our quality control process
*Working with the existing data model and designing / implementing additional models as required
To be successful in this contract, our client is looking for a highly experienced Application Developer with a demonstrable experience in:
* Full application development lifecycle
* Agile Methodologies
* Web Development - Angular / HTML / CSS / TypeScript
* Services Integration - ASP.Net Core / C# / .NET Framework / .Net Core / Entity Framework
* Experience interfacing with and developing a backend API to fetch, manipulate and display data
* Automated Testing experience using end to end testing frameworks e.g cypress, karma, selenium
Desirable experience:
* Continuous Integration / Containers / Kubernetes
* Database Development - SQL Server T-SQL / Oracle PLSQL
* Source Control - TFS/GIT /
