2nd Line Support Engineer - £22,000 - £30,000

Head Resourcing are proud to be partnering with one of our clients based in South Tyneside to assist them in recruiting a skilled Support Engineer as they look to expand their team. Our client is a leading IT Solutions provider who pride themselves on exceptional customer service and technical excellence.

The successful candidate for this position will be keen to learn and pick-up new skills in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will be responsible for using your existing abilities and experience to provide 2nd Line technical support and maintenance to all supported IT business systems, hardware, and applications. Our client supplies a diverse portfolio of businesses and seeks to provide consistently first-class technical troubleshooting and problem resolution in a timely manner; a focus on excellent customer service is therefore very important in this role.

To be considered for this vacancy you will have held a similar position for more than three years and have extensive experience in most of the following:

*Fault finding and troubleshooting
*Microsoft Windows 7/8/10
*Microsoft Office Applications 2010/1013/2016
*Office 365
*Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
*Hyper-V or VMWare
*MS Active Directory and Group Policy
*MS Exchange
*AD, DNS and DHCP administration
*Networking Experience

Experience with Azure, or any relevant industry certifications, is desirable but not essential.
