Product Insight / eCommerce Optimisation Manager

I am looking for an experienced Product Insight / eCommerce Optimisation Manager to join a global travel company based in Preston. The company are looking for someone who can drive the test and learn roadmap, validate the value of product changes and inform on CX decisions.

Key Job Accountabilities:

*Work with the MVT deployment team and set up a harmonised MVT testing programme across each brand website
*Support understanding of site performance in relation to trading, eg. funnel analysis
*Own KPIs and associated reporting for local Product team/Squads needs.
*Support trading performance analysis investigating underlying technical issues and advising recommendations or leading remedial measures.
*Define, plan and implement analytics and optimisation strategy to drive improvements to all the web sites and to maximise sales performance.
*Identify potential CX usability issues and suitable hypothesis which will lead to insightful tests
*Develop customer insight tools and tracking in order to drive strategic innovation such as personalisation
*Work with CRM team to support better use of customer data driving improved Product Marketing initiatives (e.g. customer identification, segmentation, automated triggers, progressive profiling)
*Analyse traffic flows / conversion funnels to optimise conversion and customer experience across most appropriate channel
*Manage Test & Learn activity working with third party suppliers; agreeing a testing roadmap with the key stakeholders, and analysing and communicating results;
*Ensure analytical related tools used are fit for purpose and provide flexibility required for ongoing insight and optimisation - tools include Google Analytics, Tealeaf, MVT, ETL, Modelling, SQL, VOC, etc

Key Skills Required:

*Analytics qualification (Google TM/GA, MVT vendor certifications)
*Previous experience working on consumer facing transactional websites
*Experience working in a web analytics role (in any industry, with demonstrable deep knowledge gained of analytics tools configuration, tracking, and insight driven)
*Experience running test & learn strategies across multiple channels
*Commercially savvy
*Test & Learn Experience
*Understanding of CRM / Customer Datawarehouses - desirable
*Travel industry or online retail experience - desirable
*Skilled in a range of analytics and optimisation packages
*Database / SQL experience
