A brilliant new Unity UI/UX Designer Contract has just arisen with an innovative & very cool Edinburgh based Client we work with.
Joining their team to help with the development of a new App, the successful candidate will be required to work closely/collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate wireframes, mock-ups, and user stories into interactive Unity UI elements & develop and implement UI/UX features, ensuring smooth user interactions etc.
Initial contracts will be for 3-6 months and working in a hybrid-style, spending 2-3 days onsite in Edinburgh (typically Mon-Wed).
To be successful in this Contract, our Client is seeking contractors with the following knowledge & experience:
- In-depth experience working as a UI/UX Designer with strong & proven knowledge in all aspects UI/UX design principles (including user-cantered design, information architecture, and interaction design) and a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in C# programming within the Unity engine
- Familiarity with UI frameworks (e.g. latest Unity UI System, TextMeshPro or similar)
- Familiarity with shader programming for UI effects (e.g. UI shaders, screen transitions etc).
- Knowledge of responsive design and multi-platform development.
- Excellent people, communication & inter-personal skills will be essential as always.
- Any previous with Gaming / VR / AR / Motion Capture knowledge/experience would be highly advantageous but not essential
