This role will require 3 days per week on-site in Edinburgh office. Engagement for this role is via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company.
Reporting in to the Test Manager, the right candidate must have demonstrable experience as a Test Lead, including experience leading, mentoring and Coaching other Test Analysts and must have experience in Functional testing.
Previous experience working on Data Migration projects as a Senior / Lead Test Analyst is required and you will ideally have a good working knowledge of SQL and Azure. A background in Utilities and any prior experience with Billing systems would be useful but not essential.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Demonstrable testing experience in an IT / Change function
- Experienced user of testing tools and techniques over different development platforms
- Good working knowledge of SQL technology
- Proven experience of planning and organising own tasks/workload, and that of others
- Previous experience of mentoring, coaching and providing knowledge transfer to staff
- Experience of managing external suppliers to deliver test and release management successfully
- Experience of working in a highly demanding, customer focussed environment
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, consultative approach are also essential.
