Systems Development Lead (BRD, SQL, Data, .NET) - Outside IR35 £500-600 per day - initial 12-month contract - Edi/Remote
We have an exciting role from our investment sector client who is looking for a Systems Development Lead to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of projects, assist with the refinement of Business Cases, non-functional specifications and ensure the quality of Business Requirement Documents.
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a solid background in Senior development roles working in Investment or Wealth sectors combined with strong technical skills in systems and data analysis using SQL and must also have good attention to detail and strong communication & leadership skills.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
*Highly skilled in systems and data analysis
*Highly skilled in SQL
*Good experience building integrating web technologies utilising .NET
*Previous experience in a range of systems development roles
*Must evidence ability to think and communicate in a structured, logical format
*Experience of systems development life cycle methodologies
*Experience of working with third party technology suppliers
*Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally including knowledge of investment management or wealth management industries

Responsibilties:
*Analyse existing systems and translate requirements into user stories for developers
*Liaise with Systems Testing, Devops, Applications Support & UAT teams during lifecycle of project
*Leadership of staff assigned for the duration of projects
*Communication of progress, risks and issues with the Change Team, or sponsors, and senior management when required

Whilst the role can be fully remote, preference will be given to candidates who are willing to work onsite on occasion in Edinburgh as things open up.
