A new Software Development Contract has just arisen within an Edinburgh based Investment Management Client. A long-term Client of Head Resourcing, they're a small specialist investments firm with a great company culture and approach.
Seeking an experienced Software Developer to help them with a complex Application Migration programme (following their acquisition last year), initial Contracts will be for 6-9 months and the role will be remotely based.
To be successful in this Contract, our Client requires candidates with the following knowledge & experience;
* Detailed Software Development skills & experience - SQL Server, SQL Server BI stack, C#.Net and ASP.Net etc
* Previous knowledge on another Application Migration programme, fully understanding the Migration process, along with subsequent Application Remediation activity
* A strong Software Development background working with other Investments / Asset Management organisations. Previous knowledge of the type of application used will be hugely beneficial
* Some additional knowledge of AWS & Scheduling tools would be highly advantageous
* First class people, communication & inter-personal skills will be essential, alongside excellent Stakeholder Management skills
