Our client is headquartered in Glasgow with state-of-the-art office facilities, however, they also support fully remote working meaning you can choose how you work.

As a software engineer working for our client, you will be key to them achieving their vision of creating market leading digital products that will put them at the forefront of retailing. Placing their customers at the heart of everything they do, you will transform their experience and drive the business forward. Our client is looking for talented individuals who are excited by the prospect of working on challenging problems, while collaborating and exchanging knowledge with other members of the team.

Responsibilities:
*Work as a member of a product team to design, develop and deliver industry leading systems
*Contribute to larger systems architecture and strategy
*Embrace principals and practices within the team and across the wider digital department
*Be fully engaged in production system availability, security, and performance

Skills:
*Demonstrable experience of C# and .Net Framework
*Understanding of both contemporary and classic web architectures such as micro-services and N-Tier
*Database experience with understanding of performance and security
*Experience and understanding of Agile
*Experience and understanding of DevOps practices, such as continuous integration, automation, and collective code ownership
