£60,000 Hybrid working 2 days in Leyland / 3 Home working
A great role has arisen within an established Engineering Division based out of Leyland. They are looking for someone to come in with strong existing skills around automated web testing with Selenium but will then get the opportunity to grow into areas such as API testing, DevOps, Cloud (Azure) and CI/CD. This is a great role for someone who has existing automated web testing but looking to get exposure to more modern testing and technologies.
Here some things you can / will be working on:
*Have a passion leading QA's implementing the DevOps Shift Left Strategy
*UI, Functional, Regression and Sanity testing
*C# and/or other modern languages
*SQL queries with joins
*Working with TestRail and JIRA
*Functional and non-functional test strategy and implementation
*Selenium webdriver browser automation
*Manual & Exploratory Testing
*SOLID code principles
*oWASP Security Principles
*Solid analytical skills and appreciation of technical risk
*CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Deployment e.g. Azure DevOps, TeamCIty, Jenkins, Go-CD & Octopus Deploy)
*MSBuild & Scripting e.g. PowerShell, CS Script, Ruby, etc
*Caching strategies & performance tuning e.g. Redis
*Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools
*NOSQL stores e.g. MongoDB * Source control using BitBucket
What we are looking for:
*Experience working as an Automation tester for several years
*Really strong with Selenium Automated Web Testing
*Great communication skills
*Experience testing in Microsoft dominant tech stacks
*Keen to Learn, Grow and Develop
*Able to work 2 days per week in the office
