Salary: £70-£80k DOE + 4% Bonus + £4k Car Allowance
Location: Remote with 1-2 days per week in Edinburgh office
Our financial services client based in Edinburgh is looking for a Senior Manager (service level & reporting) to join their CIO function where you will be responsible for transforming how they measure their KPIs & SLAs with a focus on the making sure all current and future IT services are delivered to agreed achievable targets. They have recently implemented Service Now so experience in this would be advantageous.
You will have 4 direct reports (3 assistant managers & 1 manager in service delivery)
and as part of this role you will be on the service & operations senior leadership duty manger rota (1 in 5)
To be successful in this role you would have the following skills/experience:
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to articulate
clear and unambiguous expectations of the level of service that will be delivered.
* Strong planning and organising skills to monitor and measure service performance
achievements against all targets within SLAs
* Strong management skills to lead the team to define, document, agree, monitor, measure,
report and review the level of IT services provided and instigate corrective measures
whenever appropriate
* Excellent influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire
multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels
* Clear decision-making ability with the facility to identify and assess risks and implement
countermeasures.
While not essential experience of working in retail banking / financial services and exposure to regulatory reporting and risk management would be beneficial for this role.
