Cyber Security Consultant required for our Banking Client based in Glasgow although this initial contract will be remotely based. As a Security Consultant, you will perform third party security reviews to onboard a large number of fintech suppliers, providing advice to projects, change initiatives and Senior Management.
This role requires someone to start immediately and will be an initial 6 month contract. This role is deemed inside IR35 and will therefore require to be facilitated via an umbrella company. Top end assignment rate of £450 per day.
Key skills & experience required:
*Demonstrable track record in a security role with extensive knowledge and understanding of the security related technical controls which mitigate Cyber Security risks.
*3rd party management experience. working with those 3rd party teams to ensure plans are maintained, tracked and engagement flows between all involved
*Knowledge of current information security standards and regulations such as PCI-DSS, ISO27000 series, GDPR, PSD2 etc
*Strong working evidence of ISO27001
*Knowledge of cloud solutions and the controls involved around cloud environments (ideally Azure).
*Confident in managing difficult conversations with internal and external stakeholders, influencing when required
*A background in Financial Services is preference however not necessarily essential
