I am currently recruiting a Security Architect on behalf of a growing financial services client based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business in a key role within the CISO function, where you will be involved in defining the security architecture across their environment.

This is a great opportunity to work on almost a 'greenfield' site with the scope to be self directed, working with a team of security analysts.

You will also be involved in:
- Providing security technology consultation, advice on technology options and develop a deep understanding of the business and wider IT requirements.
- Delivering security architecture and consultancy services across the project lifecycle to ensure security requirements are clear and met within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Contributing to and manage the local security architecture framework including principles, policies, standards, methodologies, tools, and patterns.
- Being accountable for the management of IT Architecture assuring compliance with the Architecture Framework, target architecture, promote re-use and assure that the solution is affordable and deliverable.
- Developing and maintain relationships with stakeholders

Required skills/experience:
- Experience defining and developing large-scale security architecture solutions.
- Knowledge of all areas of Cyber and Information Security, with expertise in Endpoint Protection, Cloud/Perimeter/Infrastructure Controls, Data Protection, Identity and Access Management, Security Event Management, and Vulnerability Assessment.
- Experience aligning application of security to controls based on security frameworks, i.e. NIST, ISO 27001, CIS.
- Experience with e-commerce, financial and high-volume online systems.
- Experience working within financial services.
