Location - Edinburgh (Remote Working)
Salary - £55-60k DOE
A new, exciting opportunity has arisen an experienced project & partnerships manager to join a solutions focused business who are a leader in the medical device/equipment industry.
Working in their R&D centre of excellence you will be responsible for the existing portfolio of collaborative projects across several established research programmes, whilst also developing future proposals and new prospects. You will work directly with senior managers and the leadership team to maintain and develop the grant funded project pipeline and you will contribute directly to a collaborative research and partnership strategy.
What you will bring -
*Project Management of large scale UK and EU research funding programmes
*Previous experience in research & development organisations (academia or commercial)
*Familiarity of intellectual property
*Established record as a contributing author of successful research funding applications
*Full R&D project life cycle, from proposal to project inception and delivery
Strong stakeholder management experience is a must for this role and you will ideally have gained this dealing with various partner organisations such as funding bodies, academic institutions, healthcare services and commercial partners. You will have a technical or scientific first degree and you may have an advanced or postgraduate qualification (e.g. PhD). Good communication and team working skills are essential, as are a collaborative and proactive approach.
