An initial 6-9 month Contract, the role will be joining an existing (and growing!) team and will be remotely based for the foreseeable, paying up to £650 per day via an Umbrella Company.
Taking a pragmatic approach to the recruitment of this Contract, our Hiring Contact is keen to find an experienced & commercially driven Data Scientist with the ability to help drive ROI across a range of varied business projects.
Key knowledge & experience required will include;
* Extensive knowledge & experience as a Principal Data Scientist / Lead Data Scientist / Data Scientist with previous experience Coaching / Mentoring / Leading small Data Science teams
* A strong analytics background & experience with a commercially driven mind-set & approach
* Excellent people, communication & Stakeholder Management skills will be absolutely key - the ability to work with all areas of the business & take an ambassadorial role for Data Science.
* Strong & proven experience with Python & PowerBI
* A background in Financial Services (or within another large Corporate Client) would likely help but is not essential in anyway
